Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF)
PWF/PWL series — micro-bubble flotation for FOG, emulsified oil and fine TSS.
Overview
K-Pack DAF systems inject microscopic air bubbles to attach to oil, grease and fine suspended solids, lifting them to the surface for skimming. PWF compact and PWL high-capacity series suit demanding industrial duty.
How It Works
Process flow and treatment mechanism in simple steps:
- 1
Wastewater is conditioned with coagulant and flocculant as required.
- 2
A recycle stream is pressurised and saturated with dissolved air.
- 3
Micro-bubbles attach to pollutants and rise to the water surface.
- 4
Automatic skimmers collect floated sludge; clarified water exits via weirs.
