Equipment
CPI/TPI Separator
Coalescing plate packs for compact, high-efficiency oil removal.
Overview
TPI/CPI separators use inclined coalescing plate packs to multiply separation surface area. Oil droplets travel a shorter path, coalesce and separate efficiently in a compact footprint.
How It Works
Process flow and treatment mechanism in simple steps:
- 1
Wastewater flows through a pack of inclined coalescing plates.
- 2
Small oil droplets collide and merge on plate surfaces.
- 3
Enlarged droplets rise to the surface for skimming.
- 4
Settled solids drop to hoppers below the plate pack.
Applications
Industries and situations where this product is ideal:
- Refineries and petrochemical units
- Airports and fuel farms
- Groundwater remediation
- Rail yards and wash bays
